So you would like to learn to trust again even after being scarred from a painful separation. Getting help from friends and family can oftentimes be the worst place to go to if you want to heal your soul and open your heart again.
If you’re having relationship advice problems because a lover in the past had been unfaithful, it is conceivable to find love again. A huge tearing of trust can be exceedingly troublesome and have a lot of persisting power. Similarly, you do need to find peace and healing before you can move on. I suggest that you be less judgmental of yourself and easy on yourself and keep finding the place of forgiveness and release. You want to create a relationship with someone you can trust and open yourself with completely, so you need to get rid of any persisting negative vibrations.
Often enough it’s the same tale we tell ourselves and others that has us perpetuating excuses, or justifying our limitations.
Think about the “truths” you have concerning you. I hope you are examining the strong intentions that were drilled into you at a young age; the tales (that live like reality) about you and why you have not been successful, why you do not deserve, why you are not good enough in the area of love or just life in general.
I’d suggest you come up with a sentence that sums up that shadowy area or irrational belief. I call it an irrational belief because you have obviously gone through life taking care of yourselves very well in many ways. You’re experienced in many fields, you excel in a few areas and you are certainly brilliant in others. You have increasing competencies and skills that, on the level of the intelligence, prove to yourself that you ARE skilled enough - in some places truly stunning.
What was that previous belief, call it your ‘life sentence’ that sums up a tightly locked understanding that has nothing to do with your rationality or intelligence.
