You must start going to the gym. Keep that cardio in top shape. Sit down on some floor exercise mat and go with soft to more intense program. Little jogging, play walking golf, bicycle and treadmills is perfect. The important to is to move and work to keep your cardio and your muscles. Being in good shape is hard to gain and easy to lost. Get a beach volleyball kit and play some volley. They are tons of physical activity you can do and all of them will help you keep your shape.Having fun is an important part of getting your mental prepared too. Having a good mental and physical health is what you should aim for to have a good life. What to do in the gym? Well, work on your muscle strenght of course, with or without complex equipment, a mat can often be enought. Remember be careful of bad accident, if you are using a bench always be atleast two in the gym.
 
One month before the camp push more the fitness and the cardio at least 3 times a week, try to aim for about an hour each session. Again be careful of injury on the plyometrics box until the month before camp. The goal is to be sharp and full of energy for the hockey preparation camp and if you worked well you should perform even better then the last years.

The use of a shooter trainer on the ice can help you improve your accuracy and it is a relaxing exercise for summer. You don’t have acces to ice, some will prefer install a street hockey goal and play like the good old day, why not? You can also buy practice target. It is by repeating thing over and over that you will learn the fastest.
